Jeremy Gilbert always knew he was a bit different from the rest of his family. Growing up, he's always been tired of living in Elena's shadow, and now that they've both been exposed to the supernatural world, it's just been one mishap after another. He's been getting strange dreams though and the spirits he's only just getting used to seeing, start giving him warnings. Who is the mysterious woman in his dreams & why is she so familiar? Also why is Klaus Mikaelson, of all people, beginning to show an interest in him? His 16th birthday is literally around the corner, soon approaching and weird things are starting to happen to him. When a new girl mysteriously comes to town and seems to know what's going on, Jeremy struggles to know who to trust and whom to turn to, but with his friends by his side (both old and new), he'll just have to overcome what it means to be the hybrid's son.
