Summary
“You need sleep, sweetheart.”
With his fingers on Steve’s jaw, he had the unexpected delight of feeling the rush of heat that suffused Steve’s face at the nickname.
“’m fine,” he mumbled, mouth slightly squished in Eddie’s grip. He hadn’t made any effort to extricate himself, instead watching Eddie with glazed eyes. Eddie would be very appreciative of the expression under different circumstances, but as it was, he felt mostly concerned. And a little horny, but mostly concerned.
“Sure you are, sunshine.” He let go of Steve’s face, and the boy swayed toward him. Eddie stood, and reached down to pull Steve up with him, ignoring the whining. “Nope, you’re taking a nap,” he said, voice allowing no protest.
Of course, Steve protested anyway. “Eddie, I’m at work, I can’t just take a nap—”
“Really?” Eddie says. “That’s gonna make this a really interesting phenomenon. Cause if you can’t and then you do, well some great law of nature of physics must have been broken, and we’ll get to document it, and we can make millions of dollars selling our discovery—”

Summary
It’s New Year’s Eve and Steve doesn’t want to be the only one without someone to kiss at midnight, so he slips away to spend the rest of 1989 alone in his room. And then Eddie finds him.
(A New Year’s Eve first kiss)
Another year—another decade—is coming to a close and Steve is still alone. A burst of laughter sounds behind him, reminding him of his apartment is full of friends, the ones who called earlier because they can’t be here, and he amends alone to single.
Most of the time, he can bear it, but it’s harder at night. And harder still on New Year’s Eve, surrounded by happy couples. He loves his friends and he’s happy for them, but seeing them so in love only makes the ache in him grow.

Summary
Steve's car has officially given up on life. Honestly, he's surprised it even managed to live this long. For all it's been through, it probably deserves some rest and TLC. Steve just wishes it could have demanded that rest and TLC on any other day.
Because it's Friday. Because it's Shabbat. Because he's about to have a mob of concerned elderly members of his temple crowding his door if he doesn't go to services tonight, and that's not something he wants his neighbors to see.
He considers calling Robin, but she won't be much help. She might be his Emergency Goy, but she doesn't have a car. Now that he's thinking about it, Robin may not be the best Emergency Goy, not that he'd ever tell her that.
He knows one other person with a car, of course, but that means he has to call Eddie. Not that Steve has anything against him, of course, but Eddie makes him feel a lot of things that he's not quite ready to confront just yet.
Steve frowns, staring at the phone for a long moment, trying to come up with any other option.
Steve comes up empty.
Shit.

Summary
Steve's been through so much weird and downright bizarre shit in his life that coming to terms with his bisexuality hardly poses as a challenge for him. It's not even all that surprising if he's being honest with himself. Neither is the fact that he’s fallen in love with Eddie Munson.
No. The thing that’s surprising about this entire thing is the fact that apparently, he, Steve Harrington, cannot flirt with a man to save his life.
