Summary
Remus Lupin has lived on the road for as long as he can remember, traveling with a circus. Now, he has his own to manage: Cirque des Maraudeurs. The finest part is that he gets to do it all with his best friends. Everything would be as they desire, except for the fact that they aren't the only circus in town. Dorcas Meadowes runs the show over at Le Cirque d'Émeraude, and the two have been competing for years. They face greater issues when they discover that people are beginning to not care about circuses as much anymore, and both of them are no longer able to financially maintain their long-time conflict. The vile and cruel banker Tom Riddle standing over them, Remus and Dorcas are forced to push their differences aside and unite. Unfortunately, the feud goes far beyond just the two of them. The parties must learn to work together, settle old scores, and admit spirited emotions that threaten to boil everything way over the edge. Further, they must also manage to pull off some of the most insane stunts the world has yet to see. Otherwise, they risk failing and losing everything.

Barty Crouch Jr. is madly obsessed with a rose. Not just any rose- Evan Rosier. And though they've been indulging in their mutual craze with each other for a while, Barty didn't realize how much Evan's religious past would affect the way Evan viewed himself and their relationship.
The title is from the song Shower Day by The Amazing Devil, which is literally rosekiller in a nutshell.

It took me a long moment to realize that Barty was checking in on me in a sort of backhanded kind of way, but I sort of didn’t care. His laid back demeanor, the way he acted as if nothing mattered, but he went out of his way to care anyway- it was suffocating and addicting and all things ruinous.
“You and Regulus always fight, and it’s annoying. You stomped off, and I think he’s mad at me, too. Only, I’m not sure what I did,” I was very aware of the fact that I sounded like a resentful and whiny child.

Regulus and Barty won't stop fighting, and it's starting to really starting to piss Evan off. On top of that, he's having very disturbing feelings regarding the latter boy.
