Summary
(Just wanna preface that the strings are in no way romantic or related to soulmate AU, they just represent characters that are parallels.)
After Lumine, Paimon, and Kazuha get pulled into another world via Rifthound Taxi Services, they find out it's actually a modern world of Quirks: a superhuman society where the supernatural is the norm. Strings of green thread connect Lumine and Kazuha to two other boys - a shy green-haired one and a stoic red-and-white-haired one respectively.
Over in U.A. dorms, Bakugou is awoken by a cute, happy-go-lucky blonde girl that he nearly blows up. It turns out she's been trying to get out of the room but can't because of a taut red string that connects their wrists together - and also the doorknob is too high. When he lets her out, he finds his other male classmates clustered around Tokoyami's door, against which stands a shaken-looking Tokoyami with a violet string around his wrist. Enter Fischl, Prinzessin der Verteilung.
Stuck together, they all must find a way to get the outlanders back to Teyvat while keeping them a secret and continuing their hero duties.

He shot forward and practically tore the knife out of the other monkey’s hands. “Where did you get this?” Was MK attacked on the street? Was he mugged? Who dared hurt his kid?
“His bedroom.” Macaque says flatley. “After he cut himself with it.”
This gives Sun wukong pause. It made sense that the kid would have a gas station knife, what teen didn’t? Nicks wouldn’t be that uncommon, and MK was always a bit clumsy. “He accidentally cut himself?”
“Please,” Macaque scoffed. “Do you think I would be here if it was an accident?”
His blood runs cold. “No, you’re wrong. You misunderstood what happened, it was an accident.”
“I saw it myself, Wukong. I saw him cut up his own legs, I watched from the shadows.” He spat, eyes narrowing. “There’s something wrong with your kid.”
Or-After saving the world MK is having issue. Rather than ask for help he finds his own way to cope; self harm. Naturally Sun Wukong is not pleased when he learns what his kid's been doing behind closed doors

The moon is a lonely place with the only living thing being the goddess Chang'e. It was tough being alone with no one to keep company, so when she heard about the shadow warrior death she jumped at the opportunity. Little does she know that the monkey is a little tough to get along with and doesn't trust people what so ever. Will Macaque learn to trust and care again or will he run and seek his revenge? Who knows, but Chang'e will try her best...plus she always needed a taste tester
