Summary
Though technically the fifth member of the Valorant Protocol, Cypher had not been the fifth member to officially join. He'd had no reason to. At least, not until Ling Ying Wei, callsign: 'Sage', joined several months later. With an opportunity like no other, Cypher joins the Protocol, and finds that the line between Life and Death is far thinner than he ever imagined.

Sova, for his part, could ask them the same question. It’s nearly four a.m., and for whatever reason, these two are playing chess in the common room.
