Spencer looks up at him and meets his eyes. Perhaps it's all the time they've known each other, or maybe it's the strange sort of gravity that afflicts him when Spencer is around, turning his world on its axis until everything in him orbits around the man he loves. He's sure Spencer has some kind of neurochemical explanation for what this is. To Derek, it's just familiar, a feeling as easy as breathing.
