Summary
“I don’t know what I feel for you now. I have watched you for years beg my memory for forgiveness while you lead others into the same fate I fell into. I have saw you wish on stars for me back, and stand on mountains waiting for a man to die in your absence. I have seen you lie for your benefit and tell the truth for others. Your mask is ever on tight, but I have seen you take it off, when it’s just you, me, and the quiet night.I have seen all facets of you now, and still I do not know what matter of man you are. I don’t think you know yourself. I think that’s your curse. It’s why you chase death so.
If you had told me the truth, I would’ve helped you find the parts of you that are you. The parts I knew, before we were made who we are. But it didn’t work out that way.”Or, Julie follows Verso around as a ghost.
