    Living through war is a special kind of hell on earth. US Navy veteran Haymitch Abernathy has to deal with his demons in ways that he's unaccustomed to. Enter Effie Trinket, the VA therapist who thinks she knows it all. But when faced with this boorish man and his insurmountable issues, she begins to question her methods and has to find a way to break through his defence mechanisms if either of them hopes to find a semblance of peace.

    2022: finally picking this up again. Been some tough feels lately but I'm slowly working on this fic till it's done.
