Jikook Week Day 6
"10 years later"Jungkook doesn’t know what he’s doing here. Flying all the way to America to sit in the corner of a restaurant he doesn’t know the name of just to see the one person he hasn’t seen in over ten years. It’s silly really, seating here as the waiter checks back to see if he’s ready to order, and the look of pity he gets when he says no he’s waiting for someone. It’s a look he's used to seeing working in Korea and even a sea couldn’t give him the escape he thought he was going to get.

Summary
It was normal for him to be treated like glass, especially with his common clumsiness. His parents, a renowned supermodel and CEO respectively, made sure Jimin and Jihyun were protected by their bodyguards at all times and Jimin had a chauffeur for personal trips when using his car seemed too dangerous. Usually, it would be suffocating for Jimin, no matter how necessary it could be. His bodyguard, Junhoe, was a cool guy but never let him breathe properly, and his chauffeur was a kind old man who fretted around Jimin as much as his own mother did.
So usually, being treated like a diamond was 'irritating' .
But when Jungkook did it, he felt like a precious, rare gem— like the last Opal in the world that could shatter at any moment if he wasn’t careful.
Jimin 'loved' it.
