Eddie’s tone was strong and unrelenting, it made Steve want to believe every word that came out of his mouth, to hang onto every sound he made. “Did Nancy cheat on you?” he asked, not faltering in his steady eye contact for even a moment.
During what was supposed to be just sharing cigarettes, Steve tells Eddie the whole story of why he and Nancy broke up.
