Summary
Being with Cas has been… good. Wonderful, even. They’ve got date night on Fridays, most evenings end tangled in each other’s arms, and they even spent Dean’s last heat together.
It should be perfect, really. If it weren’t for the teeny tiny problem that Dean still has no clue what Cas actually smells like, beneath the high-grade blockers and gallons of neutralizing spray. Which means Dean, stupidly in love and very much taken, doesn’t smell like it at all.
It grates more every day. And Cas doesn’t seem in any hurry to change that, though Dean can’t for the life of him figure out why.

Summary
Cas stretches out in the backseat while Dean takes up the front, and Dean’s pretty devoted to gritting his teeth until he can catch an hour or two of sleep, but sleep won’t take, and it just doesn’t take long at all for him to start shivering despite the layers.
After maybe half an hour of shivering, he hears rustling behind him, picks himself up by the elbows to peer over the back of the front bench, and sees Cas shedding clothes.
“... what are you doing?”
“I am preparing to share body heat with you,” Cas answers flatly, already out of his coat and jacket, unbuttoning his collared shirt and shrugging it off; his shoulders and arms look immense in the thin undershirt beneath.
“W-We won’t be doing that—”

Even though Witch!Dean has a black thumb, he's avoided for literal years doing the second part of the spell that claims it will make his garden flourish. Sex with a tree just doesn't sound fun, possessed or not. But if he doesn't enjoy it, he doesn't have to do it again, right? So he's finally decided it's time to give it a try.
