Crowley is a gladiator who was captured after his village got ravaged and ended up enslaved.Crowley's owner doesn't really like the Emperor, but to have the good favor of the new leader, they gift him Crowley.
This one shot takes place a few months after Crowley and Aziraphale meet for the first time and started to know each other.
