Summary
A sequel to A Wager (Please Come Find Me) for NaNoWriMo 2024.
Mabel lost, fair and square. Ford and Dipper did not look for her so she was to join Bill as a member of his Henchmaniacs. However, things are never that easy, and her soft human skin is not sturdy enough to survive the Nightmare Realm.
By the time her family find a way to save her, will she want to return? Or will she remain at Bill's side as the creature he twists her into.

Mabel wasn't scared of Ford.
Sure, she had seen him sock her beloved Grunkle in the face and drive him to the ground and, sure, maybe she had tried to take Dipper away from her--
She WASN'T scared of him though, she loved him.
Another Summer comes post Weirdmageddon and Mabel is suddenly struck by the realisation that seeing Ford in person again was very different to seeing him over video chat. Ford doesn't realise anything is amiss with his beloved Great Niece until it's too late.

“You really are a lot like me, kiddo,” Bill muttered, huffing a sigh before rolling his single eye. “Tell ya what, we’re in limbo here, you and me. I’m not gonna propose another deal but, I’d like you to consider a wager.”
“A… wager…?” she asked quietly, squinting up at him as she sat up properly. She drew the bag up with her, holding it like one of her precious stuffed animals.
“A wager!” he repeated, coming closer. “You think that, even despite their actions showing otherwise, Dipper and Ford love you enough that they’d sacrifice for your happiness, right? We’ll return the bag with the rift right now, free of charge. You ran out of there pretty upset right? Let’s give it till midnight, see if either of them come looking for you."
A re-telling of DaMvTF, whereby Bill realises how similar he and Mabel are, Ford is emotionally constipated and Dipper is stuck in the hyperfocus train too long to notice his sister never came home.
