Summary
(Formerly Known as "Debegiad Desu Ga, Nani Ka". The fanfic spawned from a simple idea, with an ambitious scope that was not amply prepared. A somewhat troubled human awakens in the arms of a strange demon child, reincarnated into the form of an easily forgotten insect monster. They believe their reincarnation to be the start of a new life until the day they receive a call from the notorious neighbourhood evil god. There, they begin their journey to find out the purpose of their new life in a world already suffering from the passing of others like them...
And maybe find some nice place to settle down and relax too.

Demon Lords? Heroes? The dream of every isekai wannabe ever. But it seemed God had a funny plan in mind with me, because I'm stuck in a cave as a flipping Basilisk! So, what? I can get out of this! Summary
The first time I register her, I scarcely take notice of her. An infant taratect that does not belong and which will soon die.
The second time I register her, a spark of curiosity rises. The web built is unorthodox and clever, displaying an intelligence that should be reserved for the more mature forms of her kin.
It is this curiosity, more than the Maker’s truce, that aims my breath away from her.
(Or: Kumoko thought that Araba spared her when she was still a Small Taratect because he looked down on her. She was wrong.)
