Summary
They stand apart from humans as heroes, saviors, and gods among men. But when we stand in the shadows of gods, we fail to see the cost to them. Sometimes the only one that can understand the weight of the universe is someone else who bears it.
After the end of Halo 3, the Master Chief - soldier, Spartan, saviour - is flung into the Mass Effect universe where he is discovered by Abigail Shepard, legendary Spectre and hero of humanity. A meeting of absolute cosmic impossibility within a chain of events that will threaten both of their universes.
Along the way three venerated gods will be forced to tackle the concept of 'being human'.
