the pod of the fic by sheeplaurelzzz
"Pissmaster wasn't even cold before his daughter showed up on his doorstep looking for the guy. Maybe Rick's jealous. Maybe he tried to do the right thing and everyone shit on him for it. Maybe he's earned the right to do the wrong thing, now."

Summary
The continent of Fear had been thrown into political turmoil following Queen Gertrude’s untimely demise, and the matters were complicated further by the fact that the crown prince Gerard remained stubbornly just as missing as he was before the Queen died.
None of this had anything to do with Martin.
None of this should have had anything to do with Martin, yet somehow here he was in the capital city, having dinner with Count Magnus as Duke Lukas's substitute.
Even in fantasy AU, Martin manages to lie himself into a terrible job.
Podfic version.

Summary
Jack has come home with a Mother's Day gift to blow all other thoughtful gestures out of the water. Too bad Jack and Maddie are not aware that a bouquet of Blood Blossoms can kill their son.
When Danny's only alternative is to out his ghost self and ruin his mother's gift in one fell swoop, Danny opts to bear the torment while he can. Blood Blossoms are notorious for dying quickly, and he intends to simply outlast them. Everything will be fine, surely, as long as Danny outlasts them.
Why did Blood Blossoms nearly go extinct in the first place?

"I missed this," Jon found himself saying. And then, because it didn't seem like enough, "I missed you."
I missed me as well, said Martin's face as he tugged at the teabag he was holding, again, and again, and again. He didn't look up to reply. "There wasn't a lot to miss, near the end."
"Well, I still did."

Summary
Danny breathed out, and he allowed himself a few moments to recover from the sensation of being all too much at once. His chest was tight with the vice-grip of déjà vu. His night fanned four-fold, four patrols braided all into one, and he was all of them, and they were all him, and he had no recollection of being any one of them separately.
That was perhaps the scariest part of duplication. The complete inability to remember having any one experience separately. Remerging killed any notion that any one of him had been him, any more so than the others.
One night, four of Danny split for patrol, and only three return. And only two return. And only one returns... Danny is left with the harrowing task of searching for the selves who failed to come home safely, and he is left with the question of whether some tragedies are better left unsalvaged.
