Kisaki curls into himself, ignoring the pressure on his side. It's fine. If this is it, then it's better than it could be. And drawing attention to it one way or the other would only make it worse. They can say whatever they want. He just stares straight ahead, at the tangles of grass, sticks, and the fuzzy blue of the sky in the breaks of the grass blades.

Kisaki's hobby of standing on pedestrian bridges to watch the cars go by isn't really something that Chifuyu would have paid any mind to, if it didn't set off some high level anxiety with Takemitchy. But, it does. And Chifuyu is a good enough friend to waste the early hours of the morning to go find him, and figure out what the Hell his deal is.
