Summary
"Why is it that whenever you're missing, I find you sitting on the roof?"
Vaggie turns her back suddenly, seeing her girlfriend watching her with a silly grin on her face.
Knowing she could have been snuck up on by someone more dangerous, Vaggie chastises herself before turning back to the setting red sun. The fallen angel hadn't even heard the door open behind her. Before her senses used to be so much more refined, able to take in the entire battlefield around her, tracking her team and the sinners around her with killer precision.
But ever since she'd moved into Charlie's room in the palace, her guard has been lessened to a large degree. Her body saw no need to be watching the moves of everyone around her when the only person ever accompanying her was her girlfriend, a person she loves more than life itself.
