Summary
A retelling of the Fifth Holy Grail War in which Rin summons Saber as her servant instead of Archer. It is a mixture of the "Heaven's Feel" route from the original game and original plot elements. This version of Fate/Stay Night focuses primarily on Rin and Saber's relationship while also exploring the themes of familial expectation, duty, gender, and sexuality.
Some of this fanfic was posted some time ago, but this is the completely reworked, director's cut version which will be posted in full with refined lore, tons of additional passages and interactions, and all new chapters. Ultimately, beyond the first few chapters, it is almost an entirely new fanfic from the original.

Summary
Watatsumi Island lay in total war. The Raiden Shogun’s forces had stormed the beaches ruthlessly, pushing through all sides to the center of the island. They were met with heavy resilience, the root of which was faith and will strong enough to overcome.
The peace talks went horribly, Sangonomiya Kokomi rejected the treaty’s strict limitations on trade, inspections, and citizenship throughout Inazuma. Of course the Raiden Shogun had foreseen this. What was horrifying was that she had specifically tailored the document to put Kokomi in her place. She loved seeing the girl shiver in fear as pride got the best of her actions.
The Shogun brings Kokomi to Tenshukaku to issue a formal declaration of surrender, and to take the divine priestess of Watatsumi Island as a prize of her conquest.
