Summary
Iruka's parents started a long term research project on a small island studying grey seals. He has fond memories of growing up on the island and since the age of eighteen has come back as a volunteer. He comes back for the season to help tag weened seal pups only to find that Izumo and Kotetsu have invited two other marine biologists to join them. Maito Gai, an accomplished sea turtle biologist clad in bright green... everything. And Hatake Kakashi, a famous penguin biologist that spent the last two years on Antarctica before his funding dried up and he had to leave.
Iruka suddenly finds himself arguing with the penguin biologist about data sheets and professional conduct in the field. While trying to decide if Gai's attire is scaring off the seal pups or drawing them in.Who knew field biologists were so... odd.
