Summary
Tony Stark finds out he's a father when his son is dropped off on his doorstep. Wanting him to maintain a normal life, free from the public eye, he has him raised in secret. After the deaths of May and Benjamin Parker, Peter is moved to live with Tony.
What Tony doesn't know is that most of Peter's scrapes and bruises don't come from being bullied, but from his escapades as Spider-Man.
What the Avengers don't know is that Tony Stark is hiding a son in the tower.

Tony Stark was never meant to be a father.
Peter knew it firsthand, after all, he was his son for his first seven years. And now that he's finally free at fourteen, he has no desire to go back to him, even if that means he has to live on the streets by himself.
It's fine anyway, he'd survived worse. He just wished Iron Man would stop being so parental over Spider-Man if he couldn't do the same for Peter.
