Summary
Cora was raised in London, born into a Chapel, and promised her life to the Lord after an injury she suffered at age six. With no voice and no control, she was ripped from her life and thrown into a castle full of those she once watched shunned and punished for their crimes against the church. Now, she's expected to become one of them and single-handedly keep a goblin rebellion at bay.
With her life far from her control, could one other person in the castle she grows to hate more each day understand what it's like to be different inside and out?Most likely a medium-length fic with a Slytherin MC who can't tell anyone why she is the way she is :) But, define 'medium'

"And for Hogwarts," Black sighed, catching the burning bit of paper that flew from the flames. "Corvella Morganach."
Black's brows furrowed at the name, Cora's heart and stomach sinking further than they ever had before. No one applauded her name; they didn't know her name to know who she was. Did she sleepwalk? Sleep write her name and throw it into the blue flames that made her sick? Her hands trembled as she stood, Black spotting her from the back of the room. A prideful smile met his lips. Slytherin. The only sound was her footsteps, walking to the sentencing awaiting her at the front of the room.
"Finally," Black chuckled. "Aren't we lucky to have a Slytherin to represent us?"
Corvella Morganach had spent her fifth year learning what she was. The grass of the Flying Lawn looked greener when she returned to Hogwarts, but the colour faded before she could blink.
