Summary
Sabine moved forward, her steps faster now.
A lightsaber blade emerged from the underbrush, glowing, pointing straight at her, hissing as it burned against the large jungle leaves. At the other end of the orange-red blade, partially hidden in the foliage, lay Shin Hati.
“You,” Sabine gasped.
Shin’s blade was trembling. Her eyes were wide, her mouth pinched.
“You,” she hissed.
Shin made no move to attack, and Sabine took a probably stupid step closer. Shin was clutching her belly with one hand, and there was blood. Oh, void, there was a lot of blood.-
On the jungle planet of Kashyyyk, Sabine encounters her greatest enemy, and is faced with an impossible choice - finish this fight once and for all, or do what she can to save her. And once she makes her choice, can she even follow through?

Or Shin was just legitimately unhinged. Which, again, Sabine wasn’t ruling out just yet.
or, an enemies to lovers soulmate au in which Shin and Sabine are incapable of inflicting physical harm on one another, which definitely isn't frustrating for either of them.

Vampire/Werewolf supernatural AU!
Sabine's job was easy:
Design weapons for an endless war, develop them, then test them enough to be manufactured for the battlefront. She always worked alone and by extent, with efficiency, which allowed her to keep a low profile despite the fact that she was a little less than a Vampire.
A Vampire in a court of Wolves.
She had worked for so long to make her nearly immortal existence play out as smoothly as possible. She'd been succeeding for decades too, although things suddenly changed when the reigning Alpha decided she ought to have some help by assigning his own hot-headed Wolf of an apprentice-turned-war-captain to work with her.
It wouldn't be the first time she'd have to share her job, but this was significantly different than the other times too.
Those that came before were simply irritating.
Working with a Wolf like Shin Hati was so much worse.
