Summary
After Zoey is brought home, Huntrix begins to take shape long before the world knows their name.
Under Celine’s guidance, Rumi, Mira, and Zoey train not only to debut, but to become demon hunters worthy of the Honmoon. Rumi answers first. Mira follows close behind. But while their weapons come cleanly, Zoey’s power refuses to settle in her hands.
The harder she pushes, the worse it gets.
As demons begin appearing more often and the pressure to protect the people she loves becomes unbearable, Zoey starts to believe the worst thing she’s ever believed, that belonging is something she has to earn. And somewhere in the dark, something is listening.

Summary
Feliciano was the first to fold, the coward he was. He turned himself in before Mussolini had even been hanged. Kiku vowed to keep fighting for as long as the sun rose in the East—and so, one morning, the sun came falling down on him in retribution.
Only Ludwig remained on the run, fleeing Berlin at the first mention of Hitler’s death, sending an aide to collect Gilbert and Roderichs’ bodies from Dachau before the British could reach it. There were only two problems with his plan: Firstly, his plans were leaked, and Alfred Jones was waiting for him on a dock in Seychelles, pointing a pistol at the young man’s head. That, and against all odds, Gilbert and Roderich lived.
With no precedent to follow, representatives of the allied nations played judge against Ludwig, and took a vote. The decision was unanimous, that on December 15th, 1945, Ludwig Beilschmidt would be executed by a member of the council chosen at random and sworn to secrecy.
But when he woke up two days later, it became clear the world had a much greater question to answer: what now?

Summary
“Roddy… I have nightmares. Like, really bad ones. A few times a week, at least. And sometimes… I have episodes. Like the one with Feli. I wake up swinging, or screaming, or I just… freeze. I can’t…” He looked away, the admission tasting like failure. “I don’t want to freak you out.”
Roderich was silent for a long moment. Gilbert braced for the polite retreat.
“I don’t mind,” Roderich said, his voice firm. “I’ve… I’ve read about it. PTSD. I know it’s not you being difficult. It’s your nervous system reacting to old danger. I can… I would like to be there. If it happens.”
———
While formally known as Oberleutnant Beilschmidt, Gilbert was now a veteran amputee struggling with PTSD, noise sensitivity and reintegration into civilian life in Berlin. After reuniting with an old friend, he navigates through relationships, old secrets, and the slow process of healing—both physically and emotionally.
Rated M for intense themes of trauma, violence, mental health, flashbacks of character death and swearing.
