Summary
It’s not as if they were unaware of the threat of being caught looming over their heads.
They knew from the moment they first kissed, and even earlier still that one wrong move could bring disaster. But after going so long without an issue it was easy to forget. It was easy to take things for granted, to think that they would be able to live out the rest of their lives with what little they had.
