Summary
The Curtis family has survived a lot. Their parents, died, now they’re friends Jonny and Dallas. Ponyboy is back but at what cost? Grief once again floods the Curtis house hold. So when the State calls and tells Darry he might loose his brothers he nearly looses it. There is one way to get out of it. They’re for whatever reason in desperate need to have a child taken in, if he accepts then they’ll only do check ups. Darry doesn’t know how to afford another mouth but he can’t loose his brothers so he accepted.
Indigo Kidd has never had it easy. Growing up in the system, getting beaten, harassed, she could go on and on. But there was one thing, shed never ever dare share with anyone. Mostly because if she did, she might die.
