Summary
The Winter of 1988.
After Vecna's defeat and the closing of the gates, it felt like the entire town was just trying to move on. They aimed to lead normal suburban lives, which seemed utterly ridiculous, to be honest. There were otherworldly monsters, a man with burnt flesh, and children with superpowers. But sure, let’s just pretend everything is back to normal.
Surprisingly, most people managed to cope fairly well! Whether it was due to an unhealthy amount of denial or sheer willpower to move on, a large part of Hawkins did, in fact, manage to return to their usual lives.
As for the party... well, they faced a more challenging time adjusting. No matter how much they wanted to return to the way things were, they simply couldn’t. They had seen too much, lost too much, and suffered too much. But they were trying.
…
“It’s snowing!” El exclaimed, peeking out the window at the fluffy white blanket covering the front lawn.

Summary
"Michael Wheeler is different. It’s not an opinion, not some skewed perception of reality— it’s a pure and simple fact. He’s always been different; everyone thinks so. But he’s only really started to understand why recently.
These feelings have probably been building up inside him for longer than just ‘recently’, to be honest. These lingering looks, these soft brushes of skin, these warm pressures in his chest. All because of a boy. A boy who just so happened to be none other than William Byers.
Will, his best friend. Kind, and creative, and sensitive, and compassionate, and so damn beautiful that it makes Mike feel physically ill to look at his long lashes, or his soft cheeks, or his beautiful hazel eyes.
His hazel eyes.
Gosh, he misses his hazel eyes."
Or, my take on Churchgate! This is honestly hella short, so I was sort of on the fence about even posting this at all, but a discord server I'm in convinced me, so ty guys ily
