Summary
Another Elisabet lives AU through the events of Horizon Forbidden West and I add my humble cake to the buffet table. Excerpt:
It was stupid, childish, to fear one woman's reaction to her existence. After all, Aloy had faced down men three times her size, deadly hunter-killers, and extinction-crazed AI's--what was meeting the woman she was based on compared to all that? But still, the fear of rejection was there. Setting aside her childish desires to avoid her own pain, Aloy was forced to recognize that she needed Elisabet. It was hard to admit, but Aloy was failing in her mission to restore GAIA. Elisabet might be the only person in the world that would know where to begin.
In the end, it was this knowledge that leads Aloy to her decision. The world was more important than what Elisabet felt about a clone of herself.
