He hummed, almost amused. “I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about, Mydeimos. This is my body, it always has been!”
“I don’t know what sick game you think you’re playing here, and I don’t care about the lines of code running through your head.” Mydei narrowed his eyes, his teeth gritting together. “I won't ask again, Irontomb, give the Deliverer back.”
Or, Irontomb remains at 99.8% completion, Amphoreus has been torn asunder, and the final battle is rapidly approaching.
Waking up from what should have been his final death was the last thing Mydei had ever been expecting. Yet, the world isn’t what he remembered it to be. Having found himself in an off-putting version of Era Nova, a horrific reality has emerged. The world is overrun with Black Tide Abominations, the Trailblazers are missing in action, and Amphoreus has been completely subjected under the absolute rule of Irontomb.

"Oh my Titans," Cipher said. She wasn't even laughing anymore, which was a sign of the coming end times, probably. "The Little Lion's actually pregnant."
"It's early, obviously," Hyacine said, her brows furrowed. "But the signs are all there. Somehow. To know for certain, we'd have to check again later."
"I'm not pregnant!" Mydei shrieked, his voice oddly high-pitched. Around the clinic, other patients turned to look at him.
Mydei took a long, deep breath. Then, stiffly, he repeated himself. "I am not pregnant."
Or, approximately four months after Amphoreus welcomes the new dawn, Mydei wakes up with an odd golden mark burned directly into his abdomen, identical to the symbol of Worldbearing.
Naturally, he does not, in fact, ask Phainon about this phenomenon. Instead, he discusses with the Trailblazer, obtains terrible advice, and goes on the worst railroad trip of his life.

Summary
Mydei's attempt to round a corner in one of the buildings of his college campus is interrupted by someone else rounding the same corner at a significantly higher speed.
That is to say, someone slams into him and takes them both to the ground.
He eventually gets a boyfriend out of it, though, so.
Not the worst thing to ever happen him, really.

“I love you,” Mydei blurts without preamble.
Phainon stops entirely. His eyes widen. Mydei’s hands twitch at his sides. He holds Phainon’s gaze, jaw clenched and body wound like a spring, watching Phainon swallow—Adam’s apple bobbing.
“What?” he breathes, the word cracking at the end.
Mydei takes a deep breath.
“I love you,” he repeats. “I offer my body and soul to you—my equal in every way, the one worthy to stand beside me. Across thirty-three million cycles, my affections for you have never changed. If our old promises during every one of those cycles still continue to mean something to you as well, then I intend to honor them starting today—if you will let me.”
(Mydei and Phainon get together. As it turns out, that’s the easy part.)

Mydei's grin sharpens, enough that his sharp canines poke out. “Mm. It reminded me of an ex of mine. He was a chef, and rabbit stew was his specialty. He liked making me this dish too,” He says airily. “It's a shame he moved to Aidonia to pursue his dreams… I almost miss it.”
Mydei takes great satisfaction when something dark appears in Phainon's eyes, although it is quickly covered up with a lopsided grin. What a silly man. So jealous, and for what? Mydei's his, just as he was Mydei's, plain and simple.
“Really? Which one was he again?”
Like you don't know.
Mydei shrugs. “It doesn't matter. He's not coming back.” Because you killed him.
