As in AiR, story and chapter titles are based on a song (and lyrics) by Our Lady Peace on the "Spiritual Machines" album.

AU (following events of original FFXIII): Lightning comes out of crystalstasis in the middle of a revived conflict with PSICOM, the last l'Cie to wake after the fall of Cocoon. Hope has a five year head-start, but even his expert mechanical skills can't fix the bigger problems of their future.AiR is the first installment written for what became a huge trilogy; it has a prequel and a sequel, along with several one-shot inserts written within the universe. The work and chapter titles are all based on a song and its lyrics from Our Lady Peace's album "Spiritual Machines."
P.S. Some chapters contain Beta-Roomie's (panaili's) humorous outtake "End Notes" at the end of the chapter. These were funny comments she made when editing my drafts ^_^ This fic is where it all began. Now, we are collaborating on a DGM Series. What a decade!

AU: Sequel to "On Salvation." Hope and Lightning must redefine their identities and find their place in a world where people from various times and backgrounds have to co-exist. Rated M for language and some adult content (not entirely determined yet).
Gifting this fic to Aloice, whose series of XIII-2 and post-LR fics (those in the From What We Cannot Hold Universe) were both insightful and inspiring to the creation of this story.
Credit goes to Our Lady Peace for the 'Series' title "Will the Future Blame Us," a favorite song of mine from the album Healthy in Paranoid Times.
