Summary
Tommy came back from a weird call involving some idiots trying to make turkey barbacoa in their backyard when he saw everyone gathering around the dining table covered by a mouthwatering spread of thanksgiving dishes and loaf cakes, stuffing their faces, moaning about the delicious food and praising the cook.
“A samaritan took pity on us and sent us some food for missing thanksgiving?” The pilot asked tiredly, his mouth watering at the idea of taking a bite of the appetizing looking pecan pie.
Everyone froze and looked pointed behind him.
He was confused till he turned around to see Evan of all people staring at him, unruly curls and dark circles under his eyes.
Oh.
Or
Evan made too much food and thanks to a meddling friend, goes to the Harbor to feed some very hungry firefighters on Thanksgiving Day.

Tears started to rain down his cheeks unchecked.
Someone finally asked how he was feeling.
Someone actually cares to check on him.
(Someone who is finally not going to invalidate his feelings and throw his grief to his face as if it doesn’t matter at all.)
With numb fingers, he dialed Tommy’s number and the moment he heard his voice saying his name with a panicked tone, Buck cried.
“Tommy? I don’t think I’m doing okay right now.”
