AU where Fili and Ori are Thorin's nephew, while Kili is Dori and Nori's little brother.
Kili is love-struck with Fili and everybody knows it -EVERYBODY. Luckily for the chap, "everybody" is not against such attention. Unfortunately for him, self-esteem issues, over-protectives bros, a slightly too sassy Ori and maybe even a dragon will get in the way.
NB: This fic decided it was a good idea to explore dwarves as an agender culture with no differentiation made between female and male dwarves, and I'm going with it.

Summary
In Erebor, Bilbo does all the house cleaning and Smaug does all the cooking while the dwarves bath in gold and insult the elves. Then everybody wants to bath in gold too, and the dwarves say no, so they fight. Then Thorin slips on Thranduil's sword (majestically), and gets impaled on it (repeatedly, according to shipper witnesses) and dies; so Fili and Kili commit ritual Tragic Main Characters Death and the fandom gets willingly heartbroken while Peter Jackson bathes in gold smoking a pipe.

Summary
To protect the line of Durin, Fili and Kili were separated during their childhood: Fili was raised by Thorin, while Kili was told nothing of his inheritance and lived as a common dwarf.
One day, a company comes and fetches him, as well as two other young lads: a pale orc watches the valley, and there is danger in revealing the true heir's identity yet. They will be told who it is on the eve of their departure with Thorin.
Only Thorin isn't back yet, and there's also this stuff about his nephew having a brother (which is the only truly important bit according to Kili), and not knowing anything makes it much more difficult to discover... well, anything.

This probably isn't the place for a prompt like this, being a kink meme and all. However, what's the harm in putting it out there. I know rape is treated as a kink, but as a rape survivor myself I have a hard time reading stories like that. I prefer the aftermath of the act and how it emotionally and physically affects not only the victim, but the friends/family around that person as well.
Within this fandom I've become quite partial to the Durin family line, Kili, Fili and Thorin. First, because Kili and Fili are inseparable as brothers and while Thorin seems very strict with them, he does love them like a father, not just an uncle. I would really like for Kili to be the rape survivor, with Fili and Thorin caring for him and trying to help him. Especially Fili, as I would think that those two being as close as they are, would be completely and utterly devestated and feel violated himself. I don't really have a preference as to who the attackers would be- goblin, orc, elf or even man.
Only request would be for this to remain as a gen/familial fic amongst the characters.
