“Jon, stop.” The blond paused his stride and spun around on his heels to face the other man. “It’s late, we can make do.” Richie was propped up on one elbow now, the usual good humor gone from his face. For a split second, he appeared older than his 25 years, his hair limp and a touch greasy from the road, a crease between his brows. He sighed and rubbed his eyes with one hand. Jon was hit with the overwhelming urge to banish that world-weary expression from Richie’s face, by any means necessary.
