For a split second, he appeared older than his 25 years, his hair limp and a touch greasy from the road, a crease between his brows. He sighed and rubbed his eyes with one hand. Jon was hit with the overwhelming urge to banish that world-weary expression from Richie’s face, by any means necessary.

After a night of heavy drinking, which Duff would begrudgingly admit was also almost every other night, he would start seeing funny. Things that went beyond the drunken blur. If he was wasted enough and looking from a certain angle, Slash almost looked like a hot babe with his luxurious curls and round ass. Which in turn, led to him guiltily fantasizing about what Slash would look like if he was a chick.

Dean keeps looking at Sam's limp body on the motel bed to make sure he's breathing. He is. Dean showers and Sam's still out. Dean reads some weather reports and watches Gunsmoke reruns on TV and Sam's still out.
Sam's shirt rode up when Dean hauled him onto the bed and Dean starts to look at that patch of pale, vulnerable skin right above his waistband instead of at Sam's chest when he checks his breathing. Starts to wonder.

Dean was dead. Irretrievably, finally, dead. Sam had promised to let him go this time, as Dean’s final breaths had rattled through his torn body in Sam’s arms, and he had to abide by that, even as every part of Sam cried out to join him.
How could he possibly move on, let him go? For better or worse, Dean had been his brother, parent, lover, and comrade in arms. His everything, every moment he could remember of his life. He only knew of one way he could begin to do this, only one thing which could help.
Years ago, researching how to bring down an obscure subtype of ghost, Sam had stumbled upon a remembrance ritual for a dead lover in the files of the Men of Letters.
