Summary
Rin is struggling with complicated feelings toward his older brother, Sae, after their U-20 soccer match. He no longer considers Sae his brother due to Sae's coldness and lack of acknowledgment, which hurts Rin even though he tries to act indifferent. Rin also resents Isagi for stealing his goal and gaining Sae’s recognition, though he grudgingly admits Isagi is useful in games. When Sae unexpectedly visits, Rin feels awkward and tries to avoid reconnecting emotionally, not wanting to get attached again. Later, Isagi texts inviting him to hang out, but Rin rudely declines, preferring to focus on improving himself rather than socializing. Despite his tough exterior, Rin’s actions reveal he’s still affected by Sae’s opinions and struggles with loneliness and self-care.
