Something about this subtle and unintentional claim on Spencer sends heat pooling in Derek’s core.
However, Derek decides that a freezing cold Nebraska Holiday Inn parking lot at 3:00 in the morning is not the time or the place to contemplate feelings of this nature. So, in the true fashion of someone who constantly deals with stress and trauma, he files his sudden urge and possessive feelings away to be dealt with at a later date. Compartmentalization at its finest.
Or: Five times Spencer wears something that belongs to Derek plus one time Derek decides to do something about it.

This has never happened before, and Derek is at a loss as to what he should do. Is he supposed to wake Spencer up? Gently nudge him? Do nothing? Derek is willing to admit that Spencer’s weight clinging to him is comforting. The feel of a human body at his side radiating warmth is incredibly soothing at a time when every part of him feels like an exposed nerve, tense and anticipating pain...His final thought, before he tumbles off the edge of the precipice from wakefulness into sleep, is that this feels incredibly right.

Summary
Dream is a figure that almost everyone knows. He is smart about how he presents himself, lives up to his persona on YouTube, and is surrounded by a large group of fans. One would think that he was completely happy with his success, grateful for everything that he had without wanting more, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
While Dream is a happy-go-lucky character online, Clay is not.
Clay has his own problems, and he is desperately trying to find a solution.

Day 2: Enemies to Lovers
“Fancy seeing you here, George.”
The brunet winces, familiarity washing over him as he takes in the smooth sound of the man’s voice.
“Dream,” he returns, sounding wholly displeased. Internally, he swats away any of his previous thoughts; it’s an absolute sin to have thought of Dream in any manner but vile. “I’m surprised you haven’t been murdered yet.”
Or, George runs into his least favorite person in the entire world (Dream) at a masquerade ball and things don’t go as expected.
