That's Charlie. Her Charlie, her little boy. Hand in hand with another boy, the two of them stood close together, heads inclined toward each other.
The other boy lifts their joined hands and presses his mouth to Charlie's ring finger. Charlie smiles, purely joyful, a smile like he used to have when he was a child, before things got hard. He looks so handsome.
He's taller than she remembered, smiling down at Niko as she hurries over. As Niko speaks, his eyes go round, smile fading. And he looks right at her.
He's looking right at Maryam, and she sees his lips shape, Mum?
