After Pepper gives Tony his inaudible incentive in The Avengers scene in the penthouse of Stark Tower, Tony and Jarvis read their briefing materials, discuss and theorize. Oddly enough, it turns out to be a lot easier for Tony to share with his AI than it is for him to talk to his girlfriend. Maybe the AI just speaks his language.
