Summary
Joe’s job has never been easy to stomach, especially when he fails to save a child. The death of her sister sends F/n into a downward spiral, leading her down a hopeless path of alcohol and drugs. Determined to help her heal, Joe stays by her side, but things get complicated when feelings begin to grow between them. Lots of angst and fluff and love for Joe’s big tummy. (I am very bad at summaries but a fair warning: this fic contains very triggering topics such as mention of selfharm, suicide, drug and alcohol abuse and eating disorders)

Summary
The forest canopy and the night sky were what first greeted Neuvillette when he opened his eyes. Stars twinkled gently in the dark cosmos that glittered above the treetops, a sliver of the moon hanging low in the sky. The familiar earth of the forest floor was cool against his back, the warmth of the day’s sunlight having been driven away by the night’s chill.
In the peaceful town of Petrichor, life is perfect. The idyllic views of the rolling hillside peppered with pockets of forest and a tightly-knit community are really all that anyone would ever need. But when a mysterious beast begins attacking, appearing for mere moments to shed blood before vanishing again, tensions begin to rise amidst the townspeople.
Wriothesley is a hunter who has lived in Petrichor his whole life, and he wants nothing more than to save his community from the tyranny of the beast. But the beast is determined to remain a mystery. Tracking the creature is impossible, and Wriothesley can't help but be distracted by his growing feelings for Neuvillette, the hermit that lives on the outskirts of town.
