It’s hard to forget the person who raised you for the first four years of your life—even if that person’s face was erased from your memory by a psycho hired by your scumbag father. But despite knowing that much, Hitoshi doesn’t know where, or more importantly, who that brother actually is. Not with that damn quirk in play.
While he doesn’t remember his brother’s real name—no four-year-old could after being subjected to the trauma of his early childhood and the illegal use of a mind-altering quirk—he does remember the childish nickname he gave him: Shosho.

Summary
Izuku felt that he was working with unusable cards, that he had been dealt the wrong hand right at the beginning, and a meeting with his Idol crushed his remaining hope of salvation. Every dream he'd held onto, every desperate wish that things might change, shattered into dust with a few simple words. Izuku loses his will to keep going, just wanting it all to end; so, in the words of his once-friend, he takes a swan dive…
Well, they tried, at least.
The Reaper doesn't like them, apparently, just sent them all back… rude. One of them thought Izanami would've been nicer, another just wants to sleep. A third is already plotting something ridiculous. Maybe they can fight death? And The Narrator is just fed up with their antics, questioning why he even bothers trying to keep order anymore.
Though, maybe peace can be found within this chaos.
tldr: Izuku takes Bakugou's advice, only to somehow wake up alive. Maybe not mentally sound, as his now-numerous headmates may tell you, but alive nonetheless. Vigilantism becomes much easier when you're supposedly dead but unable to actually stay that way. Being a traumatized system of complicated individuals is somehow harder to manage.
