When Mobius left the TVA to help Loki bring order to the Loki’s in the Void he starts to feel unwell but brushes it off as the flu. When he grows wings and horns, he rethinks that decision. With no memory on how to control his new form, he begins to lose control and he and Loki must get his memory back.
Or the one where Mobius is a demon and can’t control his powers around Loki because his powers are tied to his emotions.

Summary
After Loki finds out the TVA workers are all variants; he teams up with Sylvie to break Mobius out and takes him to Asgard. When Mobius learns the truth he's heartbroken and Loki struggles to figure out how to comfort him. So, he turns into a cat.
