Summary
What if Bilbo and Thorin met several years before the quest to reclaim Erebor began? Thorin is hurt and Bilbo takes him back to bag-end to help him and feeds him obviously. They managed to strike up a friendship (at least partly because Thorin is less of a prat when he isn’t wearing the mantle of an exiled king)... and then years later the quest begins

Summary
Thorin had always known he was a little different. It wasn’t as though there weren’t others like him, especially among dwarves. In general, there were much less women in the population than men, likely due to their long lives and slow fertility rates. Not that he wasn’t aware that anyone could be like this. He had met plenty of creatures in his life, enough to know that he wasn’t completely abnormal. He might have even accepted it and sought love, had he not been the King.
Well, King to be, he hoped. That was the point of the quest, wasn’t it? To reclaim their homeland, to leave a legacy to his chosen heirs. They still had much to learn, more wisdom to gain. But the point was, that Thorin could reclaim a mountain for them to rule, he would govern until they were of age and he could wait until they were old enough to inherit the weight off his shoulders. To say the least, he could put aside finding love and happiness for their sake. He had been content with this life plan, completely happy to do it for them with no desire to find love or be with someone.
That is, until he walked through Bilbo Baggin’s door and saw him for the first time. This had, naturally, bred an honest dislike of the hobbit from the get go.

Summary
Harry breathed in deeply, it was easier in this world, where magic was a thing. “Hello, Lavender.” His voice sounded just like the one he had heard in the movie theatre just a few nights ago. This whole plan was probably insane, but Tom had come up with it and Harry would never say no to something like this.
Besides, it could be fun.
OR
Harry and Tom watch a scream movie together and decide that together they could make a pretty good ghostface.
