    “Dude it’s been like 8 months, why’s this getting to you now?” Stu asked, heart squirming a little under the interrogation. It’s not like he could tell the truth, so how was he gonna worm his way out of this one?

     

    “Exactly, it’s been 8 months and you’re still here. You’ve never once said no to all this, or tried to talk me out of this, and you have absolutely nothing to gain from doing all this. So what are the other options here?”

    “I don't know man, you tell me! You’re the smart one!” Stu goaded a little, without really considering that Billy would absolutely take up the challenge. Billy’s eyes hardened a little, and Stu felt his body give that little nervous tingle.
    Billy leaned forward, and wrapped a hand around Stu’s throat.
