What? Who’s waking up? From what? Who is that?
Ochako was still disoriented from the amount of drugs and blood being pumped into her body. Brights lights and paced beeping from the machines coming out blurred and hushed. She tries to take in her surroundings-to understand what’s going on, yet her head was pounding and just a single thought made it 100x worse.
As doctors rush in and start to check her out, Ochako notices the two figures being pushed out of the room. They seemed to be…fighting back? She couldn’t tell. The jolt of pain striking her temples told her that she didn't care enough to ask.
Someone is speaking to her, the doctor she supposed, yet she can’t formulate their full sentences.
Outcome?…
Blood?…
Battle?…
Toga?…
Toga.

It takes so long for Minho to pick up that Jisung almost wonders if he’ll pick up at all. He’s vaguely aware that he’s probably asleep, that Jisung is probably annoying him, but the part of him that usually cares about things like that has been effectively silenced.
“Um… Jisung?” Minho’s voice finally crackles through the phone, low with sleep.
“Would you kiss me if I asked you to?” Jisung asks casually.
There’s a pause on the other line. Then - “What?”
Jisung giggles drunkenly, and repeats himself. “I asked if you would kiss me.”

Minho shook his head again. “Why would I think that’s weird?”
Jisung wanted to roll his eyes.
Because everyone thought it was weird. Everyone except Felix. Felix even had to explain it to Chan, because from the outside, it wasn’t easy to understand why a 26-year-old had such an emotional attachment to a stuffed animal. Even his therapist had tried to get him to break the habit of bringing Mr. Bear everywhere. But he couldn’t.
Or Jisung struggles to find someone who understands him, until he meets Minho, the sweetest man he’s ever met.

And in a last burst of strength Izuku managed to lift his arms and wrap them around Katsuki’s neck, “I love you,” he hadn’t written it in the letter, because he’d known Kacchan would rip it as soon as he’d read the words, but he’d thought about it since, how he hadn’t been able to let ‘I love you’ be the last words he told his childhood friend, the love of his life. “I love you so much, Kacchan, so much.”
“What’s going on?”
“I think he’s delirious from the pain, help me lift him up.”
Kacchan moved away, and someone made a sound that lifted the hair at the nape of his neck for how painfully heartbroken it sounded.
“Fuck, I’m here, I’m here.” Kacchan was immediately back at his side. “what the fuck, Deku,” he whispered, shaky, holding onto Izuku tighter.
Only then did Izuku realize, the sound had come from him. “Kacchan, I love you.”
“Stop that,” Kacchan snapped, “Stop making it sound like goodbye, you piece of shit.”
Izuku laughed. Or maybe he cried harder, he wasn’t sure of anything anymore.
