“No! Go back to sleep mom, you’re gonna wake Drew up.” Mare called back before bursting into laughter again. Lori laughed with her as their clothes dripped onto the wooden floor.
“Christ,” Helen muttered loudly before retreating to her bedroom.
“We should probably go to bed,” Lori whispered as she towered over Mare, droplets of rain still running down her face.
“We should,” Mare replied, wrapping her right hand over the back of Lori’s neck to pull her down for a cold wet kiss.

dark!Moiraine AU. She and Lanfear are Evil because it serves their purposes but ultimately they care only for each other. Moiraine has been seeking a way of arranging events to release her lover from her long imprisonment. After executing their latest play with the new Dragon, Moiraine chooses to sleep at the end of 2x05 and enter the world of dreams to meet her partner again.
'For the second time in as many days, Moiraine wound her fingers through Lanfear's thick black hair and tugged, jerking her head back and exposing her pretty white throat.
Their eyes met, Lanfear's lips slightly parted as Moiraine placed her other hand around her neck. Lust flooded the Chosen's eyes, pupils widening as she swallowed beneath the possessive hold. Idly, Moiraine traced a nail along the line she'd slashed, biting deep, not a trace of a scar remaining.
"There was no need to be so rough with the blade," Lanfear crooned, the hum of her words vibrating against the sensitive skin of Moiraine’s palm.
"With you?" she replied, eyebrow arched, lips twisting in cruel amusement as she lightly flexed her fingers like the pulse of a heart around the delicate column of Lanfear's throat, "there is always every need."'

Post EotW climax, Moiraine and Lan a little bit of time to drink tea (Moiraine), brood (Lan), and talk (both). They discuss: Nynaeve, the fragility of life and how Moiraine nearly died, and Moiraine reiterates the ground rules of their queerplatonic partnership because Lan is brooding big time and she needs him to just get over himself and go smooch Nynaeve.
'“You love her, too,” she pressed him, voice cool as ever, but her words had a flicker of bright intent for all that.
“I do not love her,” he scoffed, though his eyes drifted back towards where she lay on the other side of the fire in contradiction of those words.
“But you could,” Moiraine returned placidly, studying him over the rim of her teacup.
“I could love a trolloc given the time and inclination,” he snorted, turning away from her to pick up the kettle and splash more tea into her cup, which she smoothly extended towards him in time to catch the flow from the spout, “I do not deal in possibilities.”
Moiraine allowed herself a moment to wish the Wheel had willed it so that Nynaeve would have awoken at that moment to hear Lan compare her, however obliquely, to a trolloc.'
