Summary
The man before him is… Familiar, but off. His costume’s the same as ever, as is the capture weapon that’s still restricting Oboro’s movement. But he’s… taller. More disheveled. There’s a jagged scar under his eye that he’s positive wasn’t there the last time he saw him.
Oboro briefly considers that this is simply his friend’s father, but he knows that can’t be right. With a sinking feeling, he remembers Hawks’s words from earlier: “It looks like it turned you back a few years… fourteen years, to be exact.”
The way the man is staring at him like he’s seeing a ghost confirms it. His eyes are wide, face pale, seemingly rendered speechless.
Oboro tries to smile weakly. “Hey, Shouta.”
Or, Kurogiri gets hit with a quirk and ends up fourteen years younger than he's supposed to be. Nobody is having a good time.

Endeavor dies.
He dies in excruciating physical agony alongside what he can only think to describe as a state of complete emotional paralysis. He dies in a swirl of scorching white-blue flame, as beautiful as it is deadly, and he takes a final breath that’s choked with ash and grime and dust and so much heat.
