There were, he was sure, about a dozen good things about them that potentially balanced the scales enough to matter but he didn’t care. Balance wasn’t enough. He didn’t like them, didn’t want them around no matter how good the “companionship” might do him. He hated dogs and that was that as far as he was concerned.
