Summary
Doing live television under the influence of a truth Quirk was supposed to be a simple PR stunt. A quick display of "hero transparency" to keep the public happy. The Commission promised the questions would stay firmly conversational. They were wrong.
When the broadcast goes off the rails, millions of viewers across Japan watch their shining Number Two hero casually dissect a lifetime of institutional abuse without a single crack in his composure.PERVIOUSLY: the one who couldn't want

Summary
Several quiet beats pass between them. Far away, the ruckus of the rest of the League echoes into the night. Everyone always goes buck wild after these meetings, all riled up.
Dabi holds his hand out. In the shadows it’s hard to see his face, even with Hawks’ eyesight.
“Light?” He offers again, flicking his fingers together. A tiny blue flame pops into existence in his palm and dances against the dark. It’s…sort of beautiful. Like a miniature star.
“…Yeah.” Hawks nods minutely and bridges the gap, stepping closer. He dips the cigarette into the small fire and lifts his hand to shield it from the wind.
Dabi shakes his head. “It won’t go out on its own. Don’t insult me, Birdie.”
Hm. Hawks isn’t sure if it’s the funny nickname or the first breath of nicotine, but he gets a head rush.
“Thanks.” He says, blowing out a cloud of smoke. Warmer already.

Or, where Hawks and Dabi start out as nothing, and turn into something, over time. It's complicated.

Summary
When Keigo and Touya meet at 6 and 8 they immediately become best friends and future hero partners. Communicating primarily through email the friends keep each other posted about training, debate toya's future hero name, and make plans. When he's told he can no longer train it's Keigo who comes up with a training regimen to help toy approve to his father that he can still become a hero.
When Touya dies Kei's world falls apart. Left with no one to confide in he continues to email his dead best friend.
Hawks is assigned the mission of convincing Dabi, the league's recruiter, that he is willing to betray Hero Society. After a discouraging first meeting Hawks emails Touya, only to get a cryptic reply.
What the actual fuck?
The first 16 chapters will be short as they contain the emails sent year by year between Keigo age 6 and the year he's 21. Chapter 17 is where the story shifts from all letters to the current year.

Summary
Hawks truly wants to join the League. So, when he gets the assignment to infiltrate the League, he thinks a golden opportunity has been handed into his lap. Of course, no one trusts him, but it's fine, he'll get there.
One night, something happens though. Something that leaves him in the hands of the people who wouldve left him for dead once. Now the villains are forced to face what 'heroes' will do to one another in order to keep the title. And if a broken bird joins their mixed-up family along the way, who are they to judge?

Summary
Fuck.
How late was he? Hawks checked his watch. Already six, that was not good. He was supposed to be at HQ in ten - no, five - minutes. But looking at the scarred villain still sprawled next to him, face turned so peacefully into the pillow, he didn't quite want to go.
Looking, looking, looking for far too long at Dabi; the 'assignment' who was not under any circumstances to fall for.
--
OR: Hawks is assigned on a honeypot mission to Dabi, and things don't quite go according to plan. Fuck the Hero Commission, fuck Endeavour, and fuck everyone that tries to stop these boys communicating properly!
This is likely going to be a long one, assuming author's curse doesn't strike me down first.
