Summary
I thought I could say it once and then she’d just know, but girls are freaking weird. They have to be told daily or something. Jackie was always so uppity and vocal about her feelings and then when she asked for a little bit, I refused to even budge. Wasn’t saying I love you enough? But, losing her like this… this is worse than her staying around and us fighting every day. This was her just gone. (rewritten 3/24/2026)

Summary
Lena lets out a careful breath and says, “James and I have decided to end our— association.”
What a perfectly weird and roundabout way to describe the end of a romantic relationship, Kara thinks. “Oh?” she says, aptly demonstrating her own comparative lack of eloquence.
It earns her one of Lena’s crinkly smiles at least, affection clear on her best friend’s face. “Should I feel offended that you don’t seem all that surprised?” she flusters.
“No,” Kara says, “I am,” and she is, is the thing, she's actually stunned, but she’s something else, much more than that.
She’s elated.
“Bummer,” Kara says.
-
In which Kara makes a tiny new enemy, Alex has an actual functioning gaydar, and Lena breaks up with James only to immediately start seeing someone else. And Kara is fine! Except for the part where she’s really, really not.

Summary
“You can’t touch me, Rob.”
Rob. She swallows. Waiting for the rest of the explanation to come.
Water fills Nancy’s eyes and she glances down at her bloody hand. “If you touch me, I think I might die.”
Robin’s speechless. She doesn’t know words or words don’t know her and there’s no logical response to something so illogical. She thinks she might have heard Nancy wrong. That she must have.
“You mean, like…”
“Not literally,” Nancy softly sobs. “I don’t know. Maybe. It feels like it.”
Last time Robin checked, she doesn’t have super powers that cause people to die with touch. So what the hell was Nancy talking about?-
An angsty yet soft Ronance two-shot post-battle.

Summary
“When I asked if you were sure,” Robin added, softer, “I meant the breaking-and-entering part. The fence. The maybe-getting-arrested part. The my college applications die in prison part.”
“Oh.” Nancy’s brows knit, then smoothed. Her chin lifted a fraction, a sly smile tugging at her lips. “We won’t get caught. No cameras. No alarms on the back door. And the fence—”
Robin was already moving. She dropped to one knee in front of it and laced her fingers together, bracing her thigh like a human step stool. “Your chariot awaits, your Highness.”
Nancy stared at her, then stepped closer. One hand settled on Robin’s shoulder. Her fingers slid upward—adjusting Robin’s collar, the back of them brushing the hollow of her throat. Robin shivered.
“Are you sure?” Nancy asked quietly, worrying her bottom lip.
“Dead serious,” Robin swallowed. “Though I’d really prefer if no interdimensional monsters showed up to prove it.”
Or,
Robin met her soulmate somewhere between Russian torture and an interdimensional monster — and now she has absolutely no recollection of it. Fortunately, Steve Harrington has decided they’re going to find them anyway. Even if the answer might be right in front of her.
