Sansa and Jeyne seemed to be the only ones who listened to this particular story while holding their breaths. And when Old Nan was done telling it, both girls looked at each other before back to the woman and asked her to go through the steps again, so they didn’t miss one. Arya, Sansa’s younger sister, rolled her eyes and left. Her brothers, Robb, Bran and Rickon, all left, too. As for Old Nan’s stories, this was far from the best one she ever told. Old Nan had smiled warmly at the girls and half-jokingly asked if they wanted to write it down. Sansa had rushed upstairs to her bedroom to get a notebook from her desk so she could do just that.
“If you fill a bucket of water and wear a silk scarf over your eyes under a full moon, when you touch the water in the moon’s reflection, with a single finger, the number of ringlets you see will be how many years pass until you meet the love of your life.”

Summary
Sansa Stark has spent a year learning how quickly a famous name can become a liability.
Back at Winterfell University, she wants one thing: a future no one else gets to arrange for her. Then she meets Jon Snow, a Castle Black scholarship student who works at the campus café, argues with her about Northern independence, and seems to know exactly when not to ask questions.
Coffee becomes debate. Debate becomes a running ledger of favors. Somewhere between late nights, private jokes, and all the things they agree not to talk about after sundown, Sansa stops thinking of Jon as an escape and starts wanting him as part of her life.
At the same time, her investigation into a new Crown-backed policy is leading somewhere it shouldn’t.

She was fine because she had faith that the universe knew what it was doing. The universe, the gods, whatever is out there, it must know that she's been dreaming of her wedding since she was a little girl. It's not just about the wedding, either, she's been dreaming of the love that comes with it. The sort of love her parents have. That's all she's ever wanted.
She was fine. She could be patient, and wait for the universe to present her future husband to her at the right time.
And then Arya gets engaged, and everything falls apart.
